Voluntary Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

- Introduction
- This voluntary modern slavery and human trafficking statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 by TCA Digital Ltd (TCA).
- TCA is committed to the highest standards of professionalism, ethical behaviour, and integrity in everything we do. We take our responsibilities to our clients, the people who work in our business, our suppliers, and the communities in which we do business seriously.
- Although we are not required to make a modern slavery statement, we are making this voluntary statement to show our commitment to ethical trading principles and to set out the steps we are taking to tackle modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and in our supply chains.
- Our business
- TCA is a leading provider of software and professional services to the technology and financial services sectors.
- None of the jurisdictions in which we operate has a poor record on modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to monitoring developments in the jurisdictions in which we operate through sources such as the Global Slavery Index.
- As a supplier of software and professional services, we operate in an environment with a relatively low risk of modern slavery occurring. We do not rely on extensive or complex supply chains for the purposes of our business.
- Our policies
- Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
- We have robust recruitment processes which seek to that ensure appropriate checks on new employees are carried out before the relevant staff member commences employment.
- Our staff are protected by our policies which are intended to reflect and uphold our commitment to a high standard of ethics and integrity in our business. Our policies are regularly reviewed to ensure that they are and remain comprehensive.
- We provide all our staff with relevant training on our policies and procedures to ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business.
- Our approach
- To help identify and monitor the risk of slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain have implemented the following measures:
- Policy: We have a strict policy that prohibits any form of forced labour, child labour, or human trafficking in our operations and supply chain. This policy is communicated to all employees, suppliers, and partners, and we ensure that they understand their responsibilities to comply with this policy.
- Due Diligence: We conduct due diligence where on our suppliers and partners to ensure that they are not involved in any form of human trafficking or forced labour.
- Training: We provide training to our employees, suppliers, and partners to raise awareness of the risks of human trafficking and forced labour, and to ensure that they know how to identify and report any incidents of suspected trafficking or forced labour.
- Reporting: We have established a reporting mechanism for any concerns or complaints related to human trafficking or forced labour. We investigate all reported incidents and take appropriate action to address any violations.
- Collaboration: We collaborate with industry groups and non-governmental organisations to share best practices and resources, and to promote awareness of human trafficking and forced labour.
- We are committed to continuously reviewing and improving our policies and practices to prevent and address any instances of human trafficking and forced labour. At TCA, we believe that everyone has the right to freedom and dignity, and we will continue to work towards a world where these basic human rights are respected and upheld.
